My name is Jodie Deinhammer and I teach 7th grade Life Science at Coppell Middle School East in Coppell, Texas. I am a former high school anatomy teacher who wanted a change and moved to middle school to mix up life a little.
I love being outside, shopping on Amazon, reading, diet Dr. Pepper, and science. I have two boys, Jace is 11 and in 6th grade at East and Reid is 9 and in 4th grade at Cottonwood Creek in Coppell.

I am an Apple Distinguished Educator, the 2015 Texas Region 10 TOY, and the 2013 Texas Medical Association Science Teacher of the Year. I love teaching and learning and can't imagine ever leaving the classroom. I love my school and am proud to be a Bronco.
